Made of stainless steel with a 34-inch handle, the most common thickness of metal is 3/16 inch face. If you’re branding small calves or horses and want a smaller brand 1/8 inch may be better suited. 1/8 inch face may also be preferred in hotter climates where cattle have thinner hides. 1/4 inch face is also available but is not generally recommended.
